Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 2026 (v23.0)
"We/us/our" means Hybytes Ltd; "you" means the customer. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. Nothing in it reduces rights the law gives you in your country.
4.1 Consumers and business customers
Consumers (individuals buying wholly or mainly outside a business) have the statutory rights below for their region. Business customers are subject to this policy and the Terms.
4.2 United Kingdom and European Union consumers — 14-day cancellation right
You may cancel within 14 days of subscribing, for any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK) or the Consumer Rights Directive (EU). At sign-up you may ask us to start the service immediately; if you then cancel within the 14 days, you receive a refund less a proportionate charge for the period already provided. If the service has been fully performed within the 14 days with your prior express consent and acknowledgement, the right to cancel is lost. To cancel you may use account settings, email [email protected], or use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy — none is mandatory; any clear statement works.
4.3 How to cancel
Cancel any time from account settings or via the contact page — cancelling is as easy as signing up, with no calls or retention steps, consistent with UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 subscription rules and California's automatic renewal law. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the paid period.
4.4 Refunds
- Monthly plans: cancellation stops the next monthly renewal; outside the consumer 14-day period the current month is not refunded.
- Annual plans: cancellation stops the next annual renewal; outside the consumer 14-day period annual fees already paid are not refunded; access continues to the end of the term.
- Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; no mid-term refunds for downgrades.
- Pay-as-you-go, per-campaign and per-Swiip purchases: not refundable once started, except as required by law.
- Faulty or misdescribed service: UK consumers are entitled to repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; EU consumers have equivalent remedies under the Digital Content and Services Directive as implemented locally.
- Refunds, where due, go to the original payment method within 14 days of the decision.
4.5 Australian customers
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies them. For a failure that is not major we may resupply the service; for a major failure you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for reduced value. Statements in this policy that amounts are "not refundable" do not apply to remedies you are entitled to under the ACL.
4.6 US customers
Where state law grants additional rights for automatically renewing subscriptions — for example California's Automatic Renewal Law, and similar laws in other states — those rights apply, including clear pre-purchase disclosure, consent, renewal reminders where required, and online cancellation.
